EDWARD KRIGSMAN
Managing Broker
Each place is an opportunity to tell a new and fascinating story. Rooted in Seattle for over 30 years, Edward Krigsman brings his trademark storytelling approach to real estate, infusing strategy and sales with the history and experiences that make each place meaningful.
Although a Seattle native, Edward spent the early part of his childhood in Lagos discovering the rich tapestry of West African culture and quickly developed a passion for art, music and architecture from around the world. He followed his passions through his studies at Brown University and the Art Institute of Chicago as well as restoring landmark properties, before returning to Seattle where he found a career direction that blended his passions – serving others and discovering places.
Applying thoughtful and inventive marketing with focused sales execution, Edward provides ease and reliability to his clients. His remarkable knowledge of the local areas has allowed him to successfully facilitate the sale of distinctive historical properties, incredible architectural achievements, and many projects that have transformed the Greater Seattle area over the years. He has quickly become a local and national authority on the Seattle market - in fact, you can often find him in the pages of The Seattle Times sharing over 30 years of real estate experience and local tales of days from the city's colorful past.
Edward’s passion for sharing stories doesn’t stop at real estate. His monthly Power of Place podcast offers conversations and interviews with local placemakers around the Pacific Northwest. He continues to take the time to create new stories with his family while traveling, attending tribal events and supporting social and environmental causes.

There are not enough superlatives to describe my experience working with Edward Krigsman and his team. As I live out of state, the level of service he and his team provided getting my property ready for sale was above and beyond. They listened to my concerns and needs with compassion and responded quickly with invaluable advice and help at every turn. Edward is an experienced and skilled negotiator, and by putting my faith in him, I was able to get an excellent price and terms. I could not be happier and can unreservedly recommend Edward Krigsman as an excellent and professional realtor and a very nice person with whom to do business.

My sale transaction was unusual because of my personal situation and living remotely from the property. I explained that to Edward at the outset and he took it on. The whole transaction was done remotely and he and his team patiently guided me through the technology. There were just a few hiccups with repairs that were resolved quickly. Because of my personal situation the highest priority was to get to closing quickly, but at a good price, that was accomplished.

Edward helped us sell our home. Our experience was so positive that we kept his team to help us buy our dream forever home. He helped us navigate a challenging home to sell- great neighborhood but busy street. And also helped us stay sane as we listed during the height of the C-19 pandemic in Spring ‘20. His calm resolve, deep understanding of our local market and connections was a huge asset in this crazy real estate market. We could not be more pleased with the help from him and the team. He made a daunting endeavor that much more manageable and possible. Glad to have had him as our agent.

This realtor did the impossible. My property had been on the market 2 prior times (over 2 years) with 2 different agents. It had A LOT of challenges. Condo type challenges. Still, Edward was willing to jump in and take it on. He pushed me to make some improvements that were game changing and he jumped in personally to make somethings happen. Then the unthinkable…we had two perfect offers that flipped one after the other. Honestly I thought I would never get out of the property and move on and was at my wits end. Then a third miracle; a third offer (cash no less). All the while he managed my anxiety as I fretted over of not being able to buy a house in my intended new neighborhood. Well, we managed to sell my place, successfully buy exactly what I wanted and do it all within the month. Edward held my hand while firmly guiding me through an incredibly stressful process. You won’t find anyone who will work harder. Ps he was recommended by a close friend and he did the same for her.

We would very highly recommend Edward Krigsman to help you with your real estate needs!!! He recently helped us sell a small commercial building. There were complications with the sale, but he hung in there with us for many months, handling all the details and making sure that our goals would be reached. And they were!! He really works hard for his clients, and we will certainly ask for his help again when we are buying or selling a property. We also very enthusiastically recommend him to anyone else in that situation.
