Edward Krigsman Executive Vice President / POD Systems Windermere Real Estate Company

Edward Krigsman is a real estate veteran of nearly two decades who has converted his own personal success into a valuable contribution to his industry, through his knowledge, innovation and leadership. As Executive Vice President of the groundbreaking Point of Difference (POD) pilot program at Windermere, which focuses on a more strategic, team-based approach to selling real estate, he draws upon his valuable insight and proven business systems to optimize the success of his agents, and level of service to the customer.

Edward’s brainchild after years of extensive experience working and observing trends in the real estate industry, POD is designed to transform the real estate experience for customers by giving real estate professionals the vital support and resources they need to excel. In this innovative model, agents work together as a team, and are supported by a strong foundation of marketing tools, technologies and services that enable them to be more productive and efficient. “This leaves more time to focus on customers,” says Edward.
Prior to joining Windermere, Edward ran his own brokerage firm, ek Real Estate Group, which thrived because of this “client centric” strategy and vision of teamwork. He recognized that the industry had missed an opportunity by neglecting to center real estate around the customer, noticing that the Internet, including social media, made it critical to acknowledge increasingly empowered customers. “Each of our customers benefited from having an entire team of professionals working on their behalf to ensure the most profitable, secure and consistent real estate experience possible.” His philosophy worked well, because in just three years, ek REG ranked among the top five firms in market share in the Metro Seattle area. As President and CEO, Edward enjoyed many other accomplishments which included listing and marketing high-luxury new development condominium projects, working with cutting-edge regional architects, even closing the most expensive resale transaction (a nearly $10M penthouse) in downtown Seattle history.
Always in the upper echelon of top Seattle real estate brokers, Edward began his illustrious career in real estate at the regional giant John L. Scott where he remained for over a decade, ranking among the top one percent among 3,000+ agents in his last few years with the firm. Edward was also the consistent recipient of Seattle Magazine’s Five-Star Rating for customer service.
Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Edward graduated from Brown University, magna cum laude. He went on to study painting, drawing and architecture at The Art Institute of Chicago. Edward also lived in West Africa and Mexico, and has traveled the world extensively. He is fluent in Spanish and English, and conversant in French and Hebrew. A curious and entrepreneurial spirit who’s been ever-intrigued by the value of education and importance of people’s inherent unique qualities, Edward has been shaped by his life and work experiences into an exceptional manager and motivator. He continues to design creative and powerful solutions that not only increase profitability and return on investment, but maximize the human potential based on each individual’s strengths.
